Feature overview
By reading this blog post, you'll learn how to get the most out of Power BI's latest update to Data Labels, which gives you more ways to customize them to meet your reporting needs. In addition, the update makes it easy to add more measures, which turns your report creation into a more powerful and complete data analysis visual. Let's look into these cool features and see how they can help you tell better stories with data!

Value
To get to the Data Labels part of the Format pane, let's open the Value card first. You can easily find the active field that was used for your data title in the field. It's quick and easy to change this to a different data field, and you can make it look however you want by changing the font, color, transparency, show units, format, and conditional formatting. You can now also choose how the data label is shown when the number is blank.

Title
Also in the same area, let's check out the Title card to see how to turn on the feature that makes the same fields that you used in the description show up on your data labels. This gives you the option to turn off the symbol if you want to. You can change the writing style, color, and transparency, among other things, just like with the Value card. You can also make your own Title for your data labels using different data fields if you need to.

Detail
Lastly, the Detail card reveals more possibilities by allowing the inclusion of a secondary measurement. This feature enables the user to choose any desired field to be included as an additional value in their labels. Furthermore, you maintain the ability to utilize the complete range of formatting choices for this additional value, guaranteeing uniformity and accuracy in your visual presentation.

Layout
Now, you have the flexibility to choose between two options:
Sleek Single-Line Data Labels: For a clean and concise look, opt for single-line data labels.
Multi-Line Data Labels: When more detail is needed, switch to multi-line labels.
This versatility allows you to tailor your visualizations precisely to the available space and the specific requirements of your data.

In short, data labels
New features in the Value, Title, and Detail cards let you greatly increase the amount of data that is shown in your maps.
